A new Eastern European restaurant offers a unique dining experience
In the heart of London, a new Eastern European restaurant has opened its doors, offering a unique dining experience. Named Sudova, the eatery is the brainchild of culinary entrepreneur Sarah Dworak, who also owns Babushka Pierogies and founded Wodka Bar. The name “Sudova” is Ukrainian for “judicial,” paying homage to both its location and Dworak's heritage.
The menu at Sudova features modern interpretations of classic Eastern European dishes. Patrons can savor rye pelmeni, a type of dumpling, filled with salt cod and potato brandade and topped with caviar beurre blanc. Another highlight is the hand - formed varenyky, stuffed with house - made tvorog and crispy pork belly. The restaurant also serves Ukrainian specialty green borsch, made with chicken, sorrel, and a soft - boiled egg, as well as sea buckthorn - berry ice cream. The interior of the restaurant is designed to evoke an old - world charm, with custom millwork, a back bar, framed Ukrainian tapestry, stained - glass windows, and a family heirloom dining table. With its inviting atmosphere and delicious food, Sudova is quickly becoming a favorite among Londoners looking to explore the rich flavors of Eastern Europe.
